According to my culinary ventures and following this board, it appears that the only dim sum remaining on the westside is at VIP Seafood, on the upper level of the minimall on the N/W corner of Wilshire and Barrington. While many 'hounds will howl that any Chinese food west of the SGV is swill and Americanized pablum, I've found the dim sum at VIP to be a pleasant experience. And if you arrive close to noon on a Sunday morn, expect a wait.

Unfortunately nothing on the west side compares. There are places in Chinatown. I know this subject has been covered many times, a search might also help you on your journey.
