Sailing Dinner Cruise

jroxybabe19 Feb 25, 2008 01:15 PM

I'm looking to get a gift for a local and who likes to sail. Does anyone know of a good sailing dinner cruise that isnt cheezy? Or maybe a gift certificate to a yummy restaurant? Thanks for the help!

Let me be more specific. Something in San Fran would be wonderful.

I'm missing the connection between a food gift and a passion for sailing. All of the dinner cruises I know about are on passenger ferry type vessels and have mediocre or worse food. Are you thinking of a gift certificate at a restaurant that has boat tie-ups?

I was suggesting what Paul H states "All of the dinner cruises I know about are on passenger ferry type vessels and have mediocre or worse food."

          howdy j,
if your friend is a member of a local yacht club, buy him/her a meal there. if not, splurge on a ticket at a local restaurant. fish (sausalito) comes to mind. deb and i are sailors. we like fish.
