Please forgive me if I put this in the wrong place, but does anyone have a great recipe for a pan-roasted chicken breast with a mushroom cream sauce?

I was at Cravings Cafe a few weeks ago and this was one of the best chicken dishes that I ever had! I could have ate the sauce like a bowl of soup.

To be exact, it was a pan-roasted french cut chicken breast, with a wild mushroom cream sauce with truffles served with risotto. I googled this and looked everywhere and could not find a good recipe.

I would just go there and order this dish, but it was on their winter menu and Satuday when I looked on their website, they changed their winter menu. BOO!

I would LOVE to be able to make something like this at home!

That does sound delicious. Did you try to contact the restaurant to see if they will give you the recipe? Wouldn't hurt to try, I suppose. I would also post this on the recipe forum to see if anyone there has a recipe. Epicurious has a few good sounding recipes for a mushroom cream sauce, as well as some basic recipes for pan roasted chicken. If you split up the recipe and search separately for the sauce and the chicken you might widen your search results. Some of the mushroom cream sauces were with beef recipes, but you can always substitute the chicken instead.
Last year I had a wild mushroom risotto at Twenty-Twenty One, and it was one of the best risotto dishes I have ever had. I emailed a very nice note to the restaurant requesting the recipe, but never got a response :( Maybe you'll get lucky if you give it a try. (if you do, post the recipe as it sounds great).

Thanks for the suggestions, I want to ask them, but I was not really familiar with how restaurants are with sharing recipes!

I'd email or call Chef Ted Scholl. If he won't give you the exact recipe, he may be able to give you an idea of what goes into it.
