good place to pick up some chopped liver?

been craving some good chopped liver with schmaltz like they do down at Barney Greengrass of NYC. any place around boston sells theses? thanks.

No schmaltz but I've bought good chopped liver at Savenor's on Charles. Call first cuz they may not always have it.

The Russian store near Comm and Harvard St has a very good chopped liver...smoother texture than what I'm used to but very good flavor. It's on the N side of Comm and a few doors E of Harvard St. Sorry, can't recall the name..but I try to stop in whenever I'm in the area..usually for a chow dinner..:)

Michael's Deli on Harvard Street in Brookline has chopped liver. I don't know if their chopped liver has schmaltz. I had to look up schmaltz in wikipedia.
