Easter sunday Brunch Buffet Boston

mum Feb 25, 2008 07:01 AM

I would appreciate any suggestions in the downtown Boston area for a party of 10 for an Easer Sunday Brunch Buffet. I am considering the Boston Harbor Hotel or maybe Aujourd'hui, but i have not really seen their menues for that day. Any pro or cons on these venues or additional suggestions would really be appreciated.

We went to The Blue Room in Cambridge last year and liked it so much we're going back this year. I don't recall the price but it was very reasonable, plus they had a lot of savory items we enjoyed. There's a parking garage very close by (next to Kendall Square Cinema) which alleviates the usual Cambridge parking phobia I have. They don't have info up on their website yet.

Second the Blue Room brunch. We went last year and have also made reservations again for this year. Price is indeed quite reasonable - I believe it was in the ballpark of $32 for adults (I think less for kids). Although large quantities of food doesn't usually win me over, I have to admit the selection was great. Chris is right, the website doesn't list it yet - probably waiting till RW is over - but you can make reservations for April 12th on Opentable for the Easter Sunday brunch times.

Yeah, but is the food any good? We went to a wedding there and the food was standard catering hall fare, nothing at all remarkable.

I have never had a bad meal there at all.

Not in downtown, but if you are willing to head over to Cambridge, I would suggest Henrietta's Table in the Charles Hotel. They have a more upscale brunch, but I have never had a bad experience there. I'm pretty sure they are open Easter Sunday.
