Early Lunch in Westbury?

I am taking an all day course tomorrow in Holiday Inn on Old Country Road on the Westbury/Garden City border. Lunch is early--11:45am--12:45pm. While I would love to take the opportunity to go to Taste for pulled pork or burger, I can't eat that stuff too early in the day. Looking for a decent soup/salad. Any suggestions?

    Laguna Grille on Old Country Road in Westbury has very good salads with interesting combinations of ingredients.

      If you want a diner, we like the Majestic, right across from Fortunoff's on Old Country Road.
