A winner of a meal Thursday night.
My thanks goes to RGR for her recommendation. You were right on with this one.
We happen to prefer small, intimate places and this one had maybe 10 tables, a lovely menu that was not particularly ambitious and over-the-top, and a lobster appetizer that was so spectacular that I count it as my favorite so far anywhere.
The entire meal was delicious and we surely will return for another go.
A very nice added touch, a la Compass, was the breakfast muffins they give you when you leave.
Highly recommended.

And one of the better lunch deals around-$29 for three courses and $46 for five courses.
Not to mention the Monday night special of 1/2 off the price of wines based on the region of the month.

Our dinner came to about $240+ including tip but I must also add that though we only had 1 glass of wine each, we both had the lobster appetizer which added a $16 supplement to the normal prix fixe.
The place was not filled on a Thursday night so I cannot really say if a reservation is mandatory. I always make one anyway.
