would like to buy local beef/pork in st louis city

Hello,
With all of the media coverage, my husband and I have decided to try and change our meat eating habits. I am not planning on giving it up, just would like to know more about the origin of what's on our plate. We do go to trader joe's, and they could not tell us as much as we would like about how they get their meat, etc. I would like to hear from others about where they are buying meat, and what their feelings are about this whole situation.
