W. 16th and 7th ave. - inexpensive delivery?
I'm looking for some inexpensive delivery options for dinner near West 16th Street and 7th Avenue. By inexpensive I mean around $10, but definitely under $15.
Some places I currently order from:
Japanese:
Tono Sushi has some very fair-priced hot food.
Pizza:
J's Pizza for very reasonably priced pizza and baked ziti.
Chinese:
Sammy's Noodle Shop is pretty good and reasonable, especially the soups.
Grand Szechuan is really inconsistent from dish to dish.
Mama Buddha is really good, but oddly more expensive than other Chinese places like it.
Mexican:
Blue Moon has a good burrito, but at $12 it's pushing it.
Mediterranean:
Taim is a bit pricier, but the food is top notch.
BBQ:
Dallas BBQ has fair prices and pretty good food.
Any other suggestions?

Haven't lived in the neighborhood for a couple of years, but used to be reasonably
happy with the following (your price limit makes this a real challenge, since even the least expensive meat dishes in Chinese restaurants are now close to $10 pre-tip):Thai - Spice
Sushi - Funayama
Malaysian/Vietnamese - Cafe ASEAN
Korean - I used to like DoSirak, but I think they changed mngmt or cooks or something a few years ago cos flavors and portions size significantly changed; worth a try if you've never eaten from them though
Chinese - Grand Sichuan tends to be very popular on this board (do a search to see what to order); not many good choices otherwise; personally I've never liked the food at Sam's Noodles, although they always seem to have plenty of customers; generally preferred Charlie Mom's, but the cooking there is very inconsistent and sometimes downright awful
Burger & Fries - fantastic burgers, usually decent fries, and lightning-fast delivery; can't comment on their other food
French Bistro, crepes - not sure whether they do delivery, but you could try Le Petit Bistro
Venezuelan - El Cocotero is popular on this board, although the food didn't knock my socks off
Sorry, but I can't say there is even a single good bbq or Indian joint in the area.

re: racer x
Hey Racer, thanks for those suggestions!
I tried Cafe Asean and DoSirak, both were good, I especially enjoyed DoSirak!!!
Oddly enough, both places must have very recently raised their prices, because both deliveries were $2 more than their menus on menupages indicated -- Asean even gave me a menu that had the old prices on it, while the DoSirak guy didn't have any menus with him.
But, both very good -- thanks!

Tebaya (19th @ 7th) is great. Japanese chicken wings. Rather uncommon 'teba' style. $6.95 lunch combo specials, and only slightly more expensive during dinner hours.

Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Dirty Bird to Go for excellent Fried/Rotisserie chicken and sides (I don't like the Mac and Cheese, but potatoes and veggies are good)
Taim is a good choice, also see Hudson Falafel and Moustache for modern spins. (Though they are much better at sitdown than order in)
Grand Sichuan is about knowing what to order. Anything American sounding will be at least decent.
Mexican- Pio Maya for sure for Rotisserie Chicken, Platanos and pretty decent Tortas. Good tacos, too.
BBQ- RUB has a lunch special sandwich sometimes that will suit your budget and they're much better than (yuck) Dallas.
Hope this helps.
J's is actually not too bad.

re: Nick F.
Thanks for the recs.
Dirty Bird has some of the best fried chicken I've ever had, I've ordered from there often. There sides leave something to be desired though, if they had some killer mac n cheese I'd be set.
Thanks for recommending Pio Maya, I'm about to order some dinner from there!

I get delivery from Sushi on Hudson. The sashimi deluxe is my favorite. They give you a huge amount of fish, it's a nice assortment and always very fresh. Hot dishes are very good too and you get a lot. All main courses come with rice and soup or salad.
