Cedars Restaurant - Richmond

What can anyone tell me about this restaurant? I saw it listed in another post, and am curious.

      I have never heard of it and did a board search and could not find the post you're refering to. Do you know anything about it?

          Yeah, that was me. My bad on the misspelling. From what I understand it is owned by a family from Jordan or Saudi Arabia. They have some good Middle Eastern dishes on the menu although I've never had a regular meal there. We went for a celebratory dinner for a friend who had just passed his PhD comps. He's a regular there and the owner agreed to prepare a roast lamb meal with a saffron/almond rice dish and pistachio cake dessert. My friend is Palestinian and he said that Cedars has the best Middle Eastern food in town.

          Thanks for the reminder though. I think I'll go down there for dinner tonight!
