Speaking of ramen...Mmm Ramen!

Does anyone know of any authentic Ramen places? I don't like the really popular one on Sawtelle. The ramen isn't firm enough for me! It just tastes like something I can cook myself. Thanks!

Shin Sen Gumi Hakata Ramen specifically allows you to customize the firmness of the noodle, among other things, when you order.

Thanks to hounds on this board, I tried Daikukuya in Little Tokyo last week and really enjoyed it. I don't have an address but it is on 1st street near San Pablo.

If you're on the westside, Santouka definitely deserves a visit. It's at Centinela/Venice in the Mitsuwa food court. <3 toroniku ramen.

On Sawtelle, Asahi Ramen and Chabuya tend to be the favorites. There's also Ramenya nearby on Olympic.

http://www.rameniac.com/ is considered the authoritative LA ramen guide. Give it a look.
