How's Floataway Cafe in ATL??

  • 3

Former Atlantan, returning next weekend with our kids.

We're big Bachanalia fans from when we lived in ATL, but seems Bachanalia is solely a $72/person Prix Fixe menu now and I can't see dropping close to $150 to feed 2 little girls 11 and 8.

Regarding the kids...they're fancy restaurant appropriate....no concerns there...very well-behaved and will eat just about anything, we've trained them well.... :-)

I went ahead and grabbed a table, but wanted to check in with people in the know.

Thoughts? Other Suggestions??

Thanks!

    1. I had a wonderful meal there in late January, with good service.

      1. Floataway is great. Always a great meal. You might want to check out Woodfire Grill also. I have always enjoyed the meal and the ambiance.

Had a delicious meal there just before Christmas, and I'm sure there will be a number of dishes that the kids will enjoy, especially if they are a bit adventurous. If you are expecting food prepared with the same skill as Bacchanalia, but a bit more approachable and casual, you won't be the least bit dissapointed.
