[London] Good Eats near Gloucester Road?

We will be staying about 2 blocks from Gloucester Road. I'm looking for places for 6 of us to eat (including 7 yr old twins) that would be nearby as a good choice for the day we arrive in London.

Last time we visited London (July 2005) we stayed on Sumner Place just off Old Brompton Road and ate at the pub on the corner. I think we wandered over to Gloucester Rd one day, but I can't remember what all is there.

Any recommendations?

  1. pizza and pasta at da marios - very child friendly too.

That sounds like something everyone can enjoy after a long day of travel. After some rest we can explore a bit further.

      Thank you!

    2. I actually like the burgers at Black and Blue, which is near the tube station.

There's a few of them. The one near Gloucester Road is next to Nando's.

Thanks. That may be a bit closer to where we are staying than da marios. Will check out both.
