for sure, I really appreciate the suggestions ...

A lot of the list includes restaurants we
have profiled in our Minnesota Cooks program but a few others are Greater Minnesota spots like...

Angry Trout Cafe, Amboy Cafe, Amazing Grace Bakery, Java River Cafe, New Scenic Cafe, Nosh... I'll put together a full list later

I'm familiar with Angry Trout, Amazing Grace, Nosh and New Scenic. Will have to look into the others.

If you're thinking "outstate" MN another place that occurs to me off the top of my head is Old Village Inn in Lanesboro. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/40700...

        Chez Jude, Grand Marais
        Prairie Bay Restaurant, Baxter
        Brewed Awakenings , Grand Rapids
Caribou Grill, Way way way up north
        Minwanjige Cafe White Earth Rez
        The Backroom Deli, Rochester
        Signature, Winona
These are from a list of the places listed in a Cookbook on eating local in Minnesota...others for sure, I'll remember them later

Most of the TC restaurants have been listed elsewhere. Some do a better job than others.
