Miracle Fruit on Oahu?
I've been reading through the board for quite some time now, but this is my first post.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried Miracle Fruit and if it lives up to all the hype.
Also does anyone know where I can find Miracle Fruit (the fruit or the plant) here? I've heard that the plant has been used for landscaping, so if you've seen one around a heads up would be appreciated.
Yes! Miracle fruit is small, but it is super interesting in the fact that it really does make everything taste sweet after you eat it.
If you're interested, they're for sale at the Lyon Arboretum (in upper Manoa) in gallon pots. Give Liz Huppman a call in the greenhouse and inquire at 988-0472. (I'm not sure how much she's selling it for.) They're not in fruit yet, but I saw one with a little bit of flower buds developing on it.
