Suggestions for Providence?

Hello fellow Chowhounds:

I am planning to go to Providence this weekend for the 1st time and would appreicate any suggestions on food, tasting menu, seating, etc.

    DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT, JUST SIT DOWN AND ORDER THE TASTING MENU. They will do all the work for you and your mouth will jump for joy.

    Enjoy all the foams!

        Definately do the tasting menu. Its the only way to go at Providence. Its hard to talk about favorite dishes because the menu changes pretty regularly. You wont be disappointed though.

          I am sure you can dig up plenty of reviews on Providence but to save you the trouble- the tasting menu with wine pairing is phenomenal. I would splurge on the full tasting or the chef's menu and get the wine, too.
