Looking for a restaurant fairly close (ie. 5-10 min taxi ride) to the Don Mills subway. Have heard there are lots of great Chinese restaurants in that area, also maybe Hungarian? Any advice appreciated - thank you!

I hear you, that area can be a culinary waste land, I used to live there some years ago. One good place is Sashimi House at Sheppard and Consumers Rd. Great, cheap Japanese food. Also, I know in the Peanut Plaza up at Don Mills and Van Horne, there is a really good Jamaican Bakery called Allen's. Their patties are some of the best in town. Had a pretty decent meal with the family at Jerusalem Restaurant on Leslie near Van Horne. Buffet style middle eastern food.
