Craving biscuits and beignets. Best in the city or 'burbs?

MMMMmmmmmmmm Beignets. My husband and I had beignets for the first time while visiting New Orleans last weekend. I found the following website a couple of days ago.....http://neworleanscuisine.blogspot.com.... I haven't tried the recipe yet but I will tomorrow. It appears it has some pretty good reviews. Supposedly even better than the beignet legend "Cafe Du Mond". That's a pretty incredible comparison so I'm going to try it out.

Best biscuits I've EVER had are from Food Glorious Food - a little gourmet shop/cooking school on Bryant St. in Highland Park. They only bake on Saturday mornings, and they open at 10:00 - the biscuits come out around 10:15, and they sell quickly. But they are amazing. Everything else they bake is just as good. Get coffee around the corner at Tazza D'Oro - it's one heck of a way to start a Saturday.

Can't help you on the beignets, though...
