Dinner for three after Jump @ Union Square Theater?

Any advise for dinner in the area? It's me, mom, and my hubby. The show will end around 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday night. We like pretty much everything but sushi. We are from Texas, so steakhouses aren't high on the list when we visit NYC. Hubby and I had a sublime dinner by accident on Thanksgiving night at Supper in the East Village after seeing Stomp. I'd love a super-cozy NYC experience like that for mom.

I'd suggest Gramercy Tavern (the dining room-not the bar room)-their kitchen is really serving some fine meals right now, and the room is pretty cozy.
