I was in Pittsburgh about 20 years ago, and ate at a resturant that was converted from an old fire station. It was three floors, and some of the waitstaff would slide down the old firepoles with drink trays. Is that still around?
There is a bar on the Southside - Mario's/Blue Lou's that has a fire pole.
There's the firehouse lounge in the Strip, but I think it's fairly new and they don't have a pole
There was a place like that in Columbus Ohio about twenty years ago, it was part of the Chuck Muir restaurant chain.
