Desperately Searching!!

Here is what the Recipe is calling for.

1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2/3 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Lemon Juic
1/4 Cup Tequila

* If I were to use a Box of Yellow Cake Mix ~ how much Orange Extract or Orange Juice would I use?

  1. I'd replace the water w/ orange juice and add either a tsp of orange extract or some minced orange rind.

    1. Gee I might throw in about a half jar 1/2 cup of really thick and good marmalade right in with the liquids letting that flavor the yellow mix. Cut some of the water, maybe just a half cup of water. I might not use all that much lemon juice either (2 T).

Orange cake? You don't see that often! Good luck!

      1. i usually keep a box of yellow cake mix around just for this recipe...its really good

maybe they could overnight this to you... or make something else???

          1. Could you post the recipe, not just the ingredients please?

Oh, I would add some orange zest to the yellow cake mixture. I am not so sure that your cake would be compramised by using a yellow cake, as there are so many other flavors going on.

Between the zest and the triple sec, I think the cake will be fine.
