Best Breakfast in the West Chester area?
My vote is for the Market St. Grille. Their egg white omelets are the best that I have ever had, their homefries are delicious, and the pancakes are tasty and about 12 inches in diameter. We have made the Grille a bi-monthly stop since moving to town in 2006 but are looking to branch out and try new places. We look forward to hearing your recommendations.

I had Breakfast at Mrs. Mike's (across from the Giant) the other day - first in a long time. Great breakfast and service. Also, while most places can do eggs OK, many places in the area can't do hash browns or any type of potatoe - (hear that Penns Table)? As for portions? HUGE. Including enough sausage for a meal on it's own.

While not traditional hash browns, the roast potatoes with dill served at the Classic Diner are really great! Another idea, while not in West Chester, is Fran Keller's Eatery in Kennett Square; the best omelets, eggs benedict and country fried steak with sausage gravy--you can feel your arteries closing as you eat--GREAT!

I think you found the best place in west chester. Market Street Grille is the best by far!! The omelets, burritos, Pancakes & andouille gravy ROCKS!! Whenever we want to mix it up we hit Iron Hill Brewery for Brunch 11:00 am starts on Sundays, great for those hungover late night recovery meals. Great Mimosas and good Bloody Marys. The other place we do Brunch is Four Dogs Tavern - you can doctor up your Bloody Mary any way you want - pretty cool!

DK Diner is great. No frills breakfast done right and fast. Service is always good. The Classic diner in Frazer...is a whole different kinda place. Fantastic, varied menu. High-end (and quality) ingredients. Price tags to match. The place is a little cramped, and the service is a little inconsistent...but the food is the best in the land. Try the Reuben, on the Benedict.

2nd vote for Market St. I practically live there on the weekends. Specials are creative and I've never gotten a bad meal there. If you really want to go elsewhere, I'd say try Mrs. Mike's down near 322. Penn's table makes a good omlete but the coffee is horrible IMO. Really though, if it ain't broke don't fix it..
