Is Top of the Mark worth the $$$?

Made reservations to eat there next friday, but I hear it can get pretty spendy with a set menu and all. In upwards of $70 a person not including drinks. But do any of y'all think it is worth it or is there a better spot I should check out for a special dinner?

Drinks at top of the mark is far more fun when it's a swing dance night.

I second that. If you're into swing dancing or expensive drinks with views, good idea. If you like brunch, not a bad choice. Everything else: skip it.

Only worth the money for brunch - not for dinner. Go there were for a pre- or post-prandial aperitif and enjoy the view but go elsewhere for dinner and you will be much, much happier.

I would avoid Le Colonial. The decor is nice, but, unfortunately, the food does not live up to the ambiance IMO.

ouch. I am 0 for 2 on choices, do you have another rec, in that area of downtown that is somewhat nice.

Myth is in the process of being sold. I don't know what's going on with it right now, but it used to be very good. I'm not a huge fan of Perbacco. There's something a bit...corporate about it. Fleur de Lys is old school French. Not my favorite, but I'm sure you'd be happy if that's what you're after.

How about Boulevard? It's a great place for special occasion dinners.
