Ca'Brea - How good is it now?

Planning a special anniversary party for some dear friends this weekend, and was planning on having at Ca'Brea, but having read really poor recent reviews, having second thoughts.

For those who have been there, how does it rate right now, on a 1 to 10.

Also are there any other places you might recommend for a private anniversary party location for 12. Really appreciate your feedback!!!!

Zucca - DTLA has some nice areas for a party of your size.

Huh- we actually had a rehearsal dinner about that size last year. which went really well. Good service and food, good room, etc.

Maybe Camanille if you want to stay in that area. Had New Years Eve there the year before last in one of a couple upper balcony rooms (have a look when you're over there) and I remember they did a great job.

Well, the restaurant is being sold and there is a posting notice on the window.
Has the place even opened up since the fire last year?.
Might call Osteria La Buca on Melrose at Wilton. Big addition there with a 2nd floor that might be perfect for that type of function if they will let you up there. 323.462.1900
