Online Kurobuta Purchase

Rinshin Feb 19, 2008 02:10 PM

Can you recommend any online sites for purchasing kurobuta pork? I can purchase some cuts at Nijiya Japanese Market here in Bay Area CA, but not all cuts of kurobuta pork. I would like to purchase pork chops and solid loin meat. Thanks!

My brother and I have been happy with the items we've ordered from Snake River Farms. I have only ordered their US Wagyu, but he has ordered the Kurobuta, and in fact, prepared a loin roast he had just received the last time we visited - it was excellent. The web site is somewhat confusing - not all cuts seem to be available. But if you call them, they will get you whatever you want (at a price, of course).

      Thanks for this information.

Kurobuta makes cooking with pork enjoyable again. It makes such a big difference.
