Ideas for post proposal dinner

Im going propose next month in Jackson Square and was wanting some good ideas for places to go have a nice lunch at around the area for our families to celebrate. Atmosphere is my number one concern along with quality of food. The price is really not an issue if that helps.

FWIW, I proposed at JS last year and had a carriage drop us off at Bayona for a romantic dinner (it was at night). She said yes, so I'd classify the reviews as positive. That said, I agree completely that if you want a celebratory dinner with the family, Galatoire's is the place...if she says no, save a little cash and just go for lucky dogs.

The best place to honor a special occasion is Galatoire's. There's almost always a celebratory atmosphere in the downstairs dining room.

Sometime it can be annoying but, if you tell the waiter on the sly that it is a party immediately after popping the question, I guarantee that there will be clinging on the glass, hushing the room down, and sing "Happy Engagement to You" (to the Happy Birthday tune..don't worrry--they'll cram all the words into the measure.)
