Anyone know where I can find fresh figs in Maine?
I've seen them at Shaw's (Freeport) before, but you might want to call to make sure they have them before going in. I'd think Whole Foods might have them as well.
I'm driving through Portland and Freeport on my way back to Belfast on Saturday, so I can check on my way...thanks
Rosemont Market on Brighten Ave in Portland. (207) 774-8129 try them.
The Cheese Iron in Scarborough sometimes has them - you might want to give them a call.
Fresh figs are very short seasonal, in the late summer, I don't think you'll find any now.
figs are not in season right now
