Kosher Deli Lower Delancy Street

Maybe one of you old timers could help me. When I was a kid, 15-20 years ago I used to go to delancy/orchard street with my dad, get some bialys at kossars, some pickles at Gus' and then we used to eat at a deli right around the block or so. I can't remember the name of it, or if it even exists anymore. it definately wasn't Katz Deli, does anyone possibly remember this place?

Thanks

It likely was Bernstein's on Essex which, sadly, has not been in business for years. Grand Deli was opened by some of the veterens of Bernstein's in 1994, making it unlikely to have been the deli you remember. It too is gone. Guss' was on Essex and Bernstein's was a couple of blocks up the street.

thank you that was exactly it Bernsteins. The second I saw the name I remembered that was it. Sad to see that it is no longer around. Thanks for the reply though
