Alta vs.Tia Pol for birthday dinner

  • 1

I am considering Alta and Tia Pol's back room for a birthday dinner for 12-15 people in March. I've been to Alta with a group of 6 and we had a wonderful time. I have not eaten at Tia Pol.

I like the idea of the private room, however, the energy at Alta (and the food) is great. Any suggestions/recs would be great especially if you have been to an event at Tia Pol.

Thanks!

  1. The food is Tia Pol is great. Everything I had there was really flavorful and tasty. If you can reserve the back room, it would be a good option, but I woudn't want to go for a b-day dinner and have to wait for a table. That stated, I really like Alta and agree that the atmosphere is really fun. They also have more of a variety of dishes since there are lots of different styles of foods to choose from and Tia Pol has much more of a focus on Spanish tapas.
