I just went to Le Sanctuaire here in SF. That place has some great stuff. Bought myself a bag of Alginate. Anyways, if anyones been there, do you happen to know where I can find flat square spice containers like the ones they use there? I thought they sold them, but I think that they just use them to store their spices.

thanks

Did you ask La Sanctuaire? Seems odd that they wouldn't sell them, but they'd certainly know where to buy thm.

I had a similar wish a few months ago. After accumulating many spices, I started looking around for some convenient containers to store them. I didn't find anything suitable sold as "spice countainers". So I ended up buying glass containers from a container company and it works nicely ofr me. See for example:

http://www.containerandpackaging.com/itemlist.asp?p=0&itemtype=Food_Glass
They don't seem to carry the flat shape you want, but it might help you as a starting point.
