Anywhere in the USA where Pilsner Urqell can be purchased in a can instead of bottle? I've only been able to get it in the Czech Republic.

It's sold in cans in the US. We have them in Northern VA.

I have only three 16oz cans of PU left in my fridge. I get them from Total Wine & Spirits in Claymont, Delaware.

As the posts above note, Pilsner Urquell is available in cans in the US, but distribution is spotty. It seems some distributors aren't really carrying or pushing the package and some retailers aren't stocking it or are only selling it by the single can rather than by the 4 pack or the case. (The can sort of replaced the 22 ounce bottle, or, at least, some distributors are selling it as such, according to retailers). So, in my experience, the cans are not as common as the 12 packs or 6 packs of green bottles. (And that's a real shame.)

SABMiller just doesn't seem to be backing the package at all (has anyone seen any PR or advertising?). One large discount liquor store near me (which usually has a pallet of P/U, as well as the best prices around for it) told me it didn't come in cans and when I told him a local retailer had it, he told me he'd NEVER carry the package even if he could get it. I haven't often seen it on the shelves lately (I was buying it quite a bit in the summer) and the last few times I spotted it, the expiration date had been passed (tho' the can helps a lot in that case, the fresher the better for that beer, I say).
