Taking Food Photos in Restaurants in Charlotte/South

I am curious as to whether any of you take photos of your meals and food at restaurants, and if so, how the management and staff react to that - whether they are OK with it or not... particularly interested in people who do this in Charlotte and the restaurants, since that's where I live. Just a curiosity kind of thing!

I take photos all the time, especially while traveling, it is my photo journal. I don't think that people really care if you take photos, sometimes people look at me like I am a freak, but they are always patrons, not staff
