Basic Good Breakfast In Cambridge
Not looking for a coffee-n-muffin place but somewhere with service; classic breakfast menu for an 'interview' type meeting. A place where the server calls you "honey", the coffee cups get filled and the pancakes are light and fluffy. Kendal & East Cambridge preferably. thanks hounds!

I'm afraid I don't know the Kendall/East Cambridge side of town very well at all, but you should have easy access to Zoe's, which is on Mass Ave just outside of Harvard Square, heading towards Central Square. It's on the bottom level of a rather ugly-looking two-story complex of restaurants that also has the extremely underrated Dolphin Seafood.
Don't think I've ever been called "honey" there, but the rest of your requirements should be readily fulfilled, and I also think it's large enough that you could have your meeting without sitting cheek by jowl to someone nattering away on their cellphone directly into your ear.

Try the diner on Beacon St, just up from the Star Market on the left hand side. Very clean and really good food.

s/he's referring to Danny's Diner on Beacon Street. If you're coming from Kendall Square head north on Hampshire/Beacon. When you come to the Star Market on the right and O'Sullivan's pub on the left, park. Danny's is on the left, and he serves awesome eggs and pancakes. And the waitress will call you Hon.
