female sommeliers

just wondering about notable female sommeliers in toronto.

Sara D'Amato at Truffles
Kim Cyr at Kultura
Wendy Votto at Via Allegro
Pamela Misener (notes say she left George but was there after Kim Cyr, not sure how relevant this is)
April Kilpatrick at Ruth's Chris
Anne Martin as Gallery Grill consultant and formerly Canoe
Sarah Lyons at Amuse Bouche
Angie MacRae and Stacey Metulynsky of This Wine That Food
Lesley Provost at Satori Supper Club
Natalie Maclean

any others that you can think of?

  1. You're just interested in Toronto-based sommeliers? I know some amazing ones in Ottawa and Gatineau. Stacey and Angie live in Ottawa.

By the way, thanks for including me in your list. I do have a sommelier certificate (and flapped my way across a fancy restaurant floor for a night for my book Red, White and Drunk All Over), but I'm not a practising sommelier. I'm more on the writing side of things ( and I live in Ottawa.

so... someone else had mentioned Leslie at Terroni... if there's a last name available that would be fantastic.

any other women you can think of? someone also offered up Sarah Lyons at Amuse Bouche.

all, thanks so much for the suggestions... but if we could dig a little deeper into our collective memories for women located in the toronto/gta area, that would be fantastic.

i want to start with toronto and then branch out further since it'll be more convenient for the sommeliers.
