look no further than the avocado and brie sandwich served at the Red Room and the new more upscale cousin, Nirvana. with a side salad, still the most affordable and yummy dinner on my student budget!

Mocha Mocha on the Danforth makes an incredible Vegetarian Club sandwich that is far from boring --- made with creamy avocado slices, grilled(?) eggplant, shredded carrots, cheese, tomato salsa, lettuce & tomato on toasted organic 7 grain.

When I crave a great avocado sandwich (and I crave it often) this is what I have: it's huge and oh-so satisfying.

I like their BALT on sourdough, but I may have to try the club next time!

Gosh, I forgot all about the BALT, which is good. Just make sure you're hungry if you opt for the double-decker club -- it's a fairly substantial sandwich. I usually ask them to omit the 3rd slice of bread.

Mildred Pierce used to have the best club sandwich with avocado...maybe when they re-open in Liberty Village it will be back on the menu!

Yes yes yes! Saving Grace makes a sandwich with white cheddar, avocado, and rosemary mayo on raisin toast (I know!) that is reeeeally tasty.

It's been awhile since I was there (maybe 6 months) so you may want to check first if you decide to go (though I know it was immensely popular).

I like the avocado and feta wrap at Sage (McCaul just South of Baldwin). Pretty sure they're only open for lunch.

Cafe Bernate near Queen and Ossington does a nice chicken, avocado and brie sandwich. They have a few others with avocado of the at least 30 sandwiches in on the menu.

I second the recommendation for Sage, the combo of feta and avocado is delish.

It's not a sandwich, but Le Petit Gourmet (on Yonge near Rosedale subway) usually has a very nice half avocado filled with Russian salad (diced potatoes and veggies in mayo) and baby shrimp. It isn't very expensive. They've been making this for going on forty years.

That is a fabulous dish at Le Petit Gourmet! (see above)
I have also had a quite good Bacon, Tomato & Avocado Club sandwich at "Over Easy" on Bloor Street just west of Avenue Road, they close at around 4 p.m. Have had both Breakfast and Lunch at Over Easy and while not the best in the city they have lots of choices........

All the Best makes a California Club amongst other sandwiches for takeout. The CC has avocado, sprouts, a mild cheddar, and tomatoes with mayo on a great foccacio.
