Chocolate Transfer Sheets
Does anyone know if there is a store that sells chocolate transfer sheets? I know that I can purchase them online but am looking to get some quickly. I have tried Sur La Table and Williams and Sonoma but don't know of any other gourmet cooking/baking stores in the los angeles area.

I've purchased them at Janes Cakes and Chocolates in Montrose, north of Glendale near the 210. Nicole's in South Pasadena also had them the last time I was there a few months ago. Jane's has a larger selection of baking supplies. The chocolate transfer sheets at Jane's were gold-colored circles (the ones used in the Epicurious Triple chocolate celebration cake recipe-photo available at that site).

Nicole's Gourmet Foods in South Pasadena probably has them -- I've certainly seen gold and silver transfer sheets there; they probably have chocolate as well. The transfer sheets are listed on their website under Baking Products and Accessories. Give them a call -- it's a gem of a store.

Not certain that either of them have them, but I would call over to Surfas, or Gloria's Cake & Candy Supplies. Both are in Culver City.
