I am totally addicted to their jalapeno-maiz trout. Soooooo delicious that I'm hard pressed to get anything else when I go.

I have had great experiences at Ranch 616, although I've only been at lunchtime. I think the burgers are the best - the Framed Burger (burger stuffed with ingredients, changes depending on the day) is usually fantastic. I'm also a fan of the onion strings that are made with red onions and jalapeños. They also serve are great wedge salad for a decent price. Enjoy.

        Hi rockbound,

I haven't been there myself, but there are a few older threads on Ranch 616 that you can pull up by clicking on "search this board" at the top left of the page. That link restricts results to just the past year, so they're fairly current. Here's one that might help you:

Ranch 616 - It's been a while since I've been and last time I was not impressed.

I am hoping it was simply an off night...there was a band playing, the place was packed, and we had a 10 top... which is pretty large for a place that size.

Other than one bad experience my other past visits have been great - definitely cool deco and the fried oysters are my top pic - along with their top shelf on the rocks margaritas!

          Good Luck!
