McVities

Need suggestions for stores that sell these cookies; the Digestives I have found at Kei-Phat a few times but I am especially fond of the Hob-nobs and have never found them here. I carry them back from Europe every chance I get.

I've got a pack of McVities in the cupboard, but you can't have them. I believe the only places that sold them are all gone now...Eaton's, Davies, and M&S.
I haven't checked Old Europe for a while.

Loblaws doesn't carry them? I will try to do for you what I am doing for others! I am in Regina, Sk., until (probably) mid next week. You may have read that I am bringing some Tim Tams back with me, long story! I am fairly sure that McVities, Hob-nobs are carried in stores here, I could possibly squeeze in a couple of packages for you, if I find them.

Did you try 5 Saisons in Westmount? Wouldn't surprise me if they had them. The other possibility is the "I'm-too-freakin'-lazy-to-park-on-the-street-and-walk-and-would-rather-sit-in-my-idling-car-for-20-minutes-to-get-into-the-parking-lot" Metro store in Westmount.

:-) thanks for my laugh of the morning - it never fails to amaze me when I see that. It's only equalled by the "I'm-too-freakin'-lazy-to-push-my-own-grocery-cart-to-my-car-and-put-my-groceries-in-it-myself-so-I-will-also-wait-in-line-with-my-car-afterwards-to-have-the-store-do-it-for-me".

I know that I saw them in Superstore (Loblaws) in Winnipeg, so I bet Eatwell could get them in Regina.

But I just went to the site for Bramble House in Valois, Pointe Claire. They have McVities listed on their site! So I bet they have them! I am going to try to get out there soon... Jelly babies here I come!

Well they (McVitties, Hob Nobs) easily available here (Regina). I was just at a Safeway in a Mall and they had them. Here I am told they are available at most (if not all) grocery stores. Does Safeway exist in Montreal?

            No, I don't believe so.

Thanks for the kind offer but I will go to Bramble House and check out the goods!

I can confirm that the Bramble House does have hob-nobs. I go there regularly to get my fix. (And for PG Tips too).
