Fish Tacos in South El Monte

Once upon a long time before the electricity crisis caused the utility companies to re-assess their spending, I contracted at Edison in Rosemead.
It occurred to me that I never posted our most amazing chowish discovery in all the time we were there.
In South El Monte on Garvey Ave., just a block or two east of Rosemead Bl. (and east of the ugly McDonalds that keeps Frank Lloyd Wright spinning in his grave like an express-train axle) in a very nondescript mini mall on the north side of the street is El Taco Nazo.
They serve absolutely the BEST fish (and shrimp) tacos anywhere in the world by my way of thinking (again, 'best' is subjective, but since I'm writing...). It's dirt cheap and the place is jam-packed by 11:45 in the morning. It got to the point where at 11:15 we would say, "it's fish taco time!" and be there by 11:30 for a shot at one of the 4 tables in the place.
The fish taco combo is two fish tacos with the requisite sauces and cabbage, beans and rice and was $4.25 the last time I was there. The shrimp taco combo is the same only with shrimp and was $4.65 the last time I was there. This includes a good-sized drink and you can fill up a plate with the noshes at the counter (radishes, limes, jalapeños, and these amazing though INCREDIBLY hot chiles that had been blistered and sprinkled with salt, pepper and cheese).
There are, say the food websites, 15 locations. No one deigns to provide, say, a LIST or anything... There are locations (for sure) in Pomona, La Puente, La Habra and East L.A. (or maybe it's Boyle Heights). Incredible, incredible, incredible, I drool just thinking of them, and any trip to the SGV must include fish tacos.
i, too, have been singing the praises of El Taco-Nazo on this board - for quite a while now, actually.
funny thing though, every once in a while someone will post a query about "where to find the best fish taco," and i'll jump up and down and say go to 'Nazo. i never hear, though, if anybody else has had a good experience.
nice to know someone else out there is enjoying what might be THE best fish tacos (and burritos) in all of Los Angeles...
