Has anyont been to the Heston Supper club in LaPorte, Indiana? We were there years ago and have begun getting e-mails from them. Does anyone have a recent experience there? thanks

I have not been there in about 5 years. However, its the 2nd best steak I've had. the 40 ounce Prime Rib.

Heston is still open.2nd best prime rib after Skip's in New Buffalo.Skip taught them all about prime rib since Heston was originally owned by Skip,Very good meat ,I have always enjoyed the scallops.I am sure no fish is flown in fresh from the coast.If you are in the area(Laporte,Michigan City,NewBuffalo) its a nice trip in the country.

We were just there a week ago. It was horrible. The service was bad, the management was inexperienced, portions of the meals came at the wrong time, the drinks we ordered were wrong and the food was cold. OH! And I almost forgot! They charged someone else's meal to our bill. It was a lovely touch. We will never return. For the price, if you want to spend around $150/couple, I would highly suggest Ruth's Chris by University Park Mall. You won't be dissapointed.

We were there just last night. Right now they are running during the week specials so I got the 6 oz filet mignon dinner for just $15!!! Cheese & crackers, homemade soup or salad & bread, that beautiful filet covered with sauted portabello mushroom slices, and a generous (to say the least) helping of veggies. Baby brussel sprouts with bacon were the veg of the day. YUM! The staff always strikes that perfect balance between professional and friendly. I've never had a bad time there, I don't think it's possible. It's definitely my go-to place when it has to be perfect for clients, family or friends.
