Hello,

My mom's 70th birthday party is coming up and I'm in charge of getting the cake. I was wondering if anyone out there can recommend a good bakery in the Worcester, MA area.

Thanks!

If yopu want a fantastic cake, go to On the Rise on Pleasant St. Looks and tastes great.

The Crown Bakery has great cakes and desserts. The Princess Torte is an unbelievably good cake.

Absolutely the Crown Bakery - best bakery in Worcester. I grew up there and moved to Boston over 20 years ago. I still get mail order from (and stock up when back home visiting the parents) the Crown Bakery. The whipped cream torta is to die for and I really like the raspberry jelly rolls & cardamom rolls/braids.
