Santa Barbara Sunday Lunch

Hughlipton Feb 15, 2008 05:50 AM

I don't believe the Wine Cask still serves lundh on the Patio or at all on Sundays. Was gving thought to maybe the Montecito Hotel dining room but would appreciate some suggestions. Patio is not a necessity but would be nice.

Lots of places on State Street open for Sunday lunch, crowds around Tupelo Junction and Anderson's Bakery, both with sidewalk tables, good menus and near the Santa Barbara Art Museum which is free on Sundays. How can you lose?

Stella Mare's greenhouse is very nice, and they do put tables outside, weather permitting. The last time we went on a weekend with the parentals (who can be hard to please) everything on the Sat./Sun. brunch menu was a hit. Arts & Letters Cafe is charming and the food is very good. Their patio is as lovely and hidden as it gets. Pierre LaFond has decent food and nice sidewalk tables, great for people-watching.
