Short Hills Dinner

samiam123 Feb 14, 2008 09:35 AM

Hi-I'll be staying in Short Hills this Saturday Night and was looking for great place to eat. I would rather not have Italian-but anything else is fine. Price-around $50-60pp. Thanks.

Get on the phone ASAP to the concierge at the Hilton and snag a reservation at Restaurant Serenade in Chatham! It's less than a mile from the hotel. www.restaurantserenade.com

I'd try for Scalini Fedeli, just down the block from serenade. REALLY good italian cuisine.

Serenade is a good bet. Also consider Roots Steakhouse in nearby Summit. I doubt, however, that you'll get out of Roots for only $50-$60.

Thanks but I will be with my mom for the weekend at the Hilton-I don't think steak is what we had in mind. I think that I will try Serenade unless there are other suggestions.

Try Copeland in the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown. The menu is modern american and they have a great raw bar.
