Shadowbrook in Capitola - Sunday nts 3-course dinner for $19.47

Just read in the SJ Mercury that Shadowbrook in Capitola is celebrating 60th birthday by have 3-course dinner on Sunday nights until the end of April.

Is it worth going for it? Hope others can report back if they go.

The Shadowbrook is a fantastic little place to eat in one of my favorite little towns in CA!! The Sunday brunch is fantastic orange muffins to die for. I am certain their dinners would be just as tasty!!

I tend to agree w/ harryd, although I've enjoyed weekend brunch once at Shadowbrook. They are also offering their Mon. prime rib and Thurs. seafood specials for $14.95. I don't think I'll be going for any dinner, but sometimes I feel like just giving them a chance w/ the hope of being pleasantly surprised. Looking at my old reports linked below, it's been about 2.5 yrs. since my last visit so perhaps I should revisit...

Go have a drink at Shadowbrook and enjoy the wonderful ambiance. Then go somewhere else for dinner.
