Hey there -- I'm in search of shokupan, the Japanese version of white sandwich bread. Anyone know of any Asian bakeries where I could get this? Thanks.

yes, mitsuwa's bread is baked on premises in many of their stores. i find their bread and baked goods to be of better quality than nijiya's.

Pretty much all of the Asian Bakeries carry that.

Frances Bakery in Little Tokyo has it.

The Japanese markets carry them. Where are you? In LA? OC?
