Good Grilled Fish in Philly, good contemporary american fare
I just moved from NYC down to Philly. A definite foodie and this is my 1st time on chow. I love what I see so far. Favorite restaurants in NYC are Aqua Grill for seafood. Was looking for a place to go with my husband tonight. A good fun atmosphere, maybe a bar area (not necessary) but could go for a good piece of fish and some fun appetizerss. Contemporary american is fine for tonight. Would rather not BYOB this time. Just trying to get to know the new city and want to go somewhere to chill and have a few drinks and a good meal. Thanks in advance for the help.

Either one of the two Dimitri's offers fresh grilled fish, octopus, etc. and basic, but fresh, greek-inspired appetizers. Unless you get there early, there is usually a wait at the Third St. location, but you can give your name and go to the bar across the street (still the New Wave Cafe?) and enjoy a cocktail while you wait for them to give you a ring on your cell phone. The other location -- Fitler Square has a full bar. It's much more casualy than Estia (and much less expensive).
Also: Little Fish, Seafood Unlimited and Philadelpha Fish & Company.

Estia would probably foot the bill. It's on the expensive side, but the fish is very fresh and the atmosphere nice. Here's the menu (no prices on it though)
