Are Taco Tuesdays at Del Taco over?
I have two locations in my area, and both of them aren't doing it anymore. They have some other deals now that occur on a daily basis, but of course the savings aren't as good.
Well, there's the end of an era, at least for me. I patron the mom-and-pop kind of places for the most part now anyway. If I can't get stuffed there for three bucks and change, what's the point of going there now?
What happened in your area?

My area (Boise, ID) is officially doing it again and advertising it on their signage out front, but now it's 3 for $1.69. The funny thing is that it costs more now than when they discarded Taco Tuesdays, because when they discarded it they had a deal of 3 tacos for $1.59. They're charging a ridiculous $.89 for each of those puny tacos now, so from that standpoint the deal is a bargain. But it's still less of a bargain compared to other parts of the country. They also have a deal of a free taco, but I can't remember if you get one with a meal or with just any order in general (probably the former).

I just ate at Del Taco yesterday for the first time in months and I noticed that Taco Tuesday's are on, 3 for $1, plus they have the Del Deal running right now. Had to get my krinkle fry fix from DT, love those fries..

re: Mongah
I visited my hometown of L.A. after I asked that question and saw a Del Taco there still advertising Taco Night. (it's three for either $1.09 or $1.19 as of a couple months ago-- it doesn't seem quite as special a deal compared to 3 for $.99 in my consumerism-warped brain once you add that third digit). So I consider this a regional screwjob. But that's fine. I may partake in it whenever I visit L.A. and get that urge, but otherwise I'm done with them and will support the local taco joints. And I can satisfy any crinkle-cut fry fix from a Chicago-style hot dog stand here.
