LA birthday specials/ freebies

My girlfriend's birthday is this week and so far she's found two specials:
the Silver Lake Wine shop gives you a free wine testing (either Monday or Thursday) around your birthday
and the Islands restaurant chain gives you a free entree. (We went there today for lunch and I didn't think it was too bad, though the atmosphere was off-putting for me (I hate themes))

Anyone know any other places that do birthday specials/ freebies? (My birthday is next week)

And, most places if you call ahead will comp dessert if you tell them you have a birthday and want to "surprise" the guest of honor with a candle lit sweet.

If you sign up with the Oinkster in Eagle Rock you get free food on your bday. Not sure what, though.

It's going to be my baby girl's first birthday, and I've heard that some places give away free cake for this occasion. I did a little digging, and found out that Alberson's does this, Pavilions used to do it (but no more), and Vons might if one orders a coupon.

Do any of you hounds know of other places that give away free birthday cake?

Whole foods will also give you a free lunch in their "hot food" section at the new one in pasadena at least.

Red Robin sends you an email coupon for a free burger a few days before your birthday, if I remember correctly.
