Bachelor Party Dinner - 15-20 people

w3wa2003 Feb 12, 2008 07:15 AM

I am planning a bachelor party dinner for 15-20. Im looking for a restaurant with great food and a relaxed dress code that can accommodate us in a separate room or at one table. We were interested in Cochon but they dont have a table that seats more than 12. I appreciate any recommendations.

You could try Cochon's sister restaurant Herbsaint. They have a room in back that is able to accommodate larger groups.

Tujague's in the FQ .....this is their thing. You can rent out the private room upstairs for $50.00 per man and it is a 5-6 course dinner with an open bar... you can't beat that anywhere.

Also check out mrshades string on Jan. 13, 2008 he had the same question and there are some good places there.

I live in San Diego, and make about a half-dozen trips to New Orleans each year.

I was married in the FQ in November '04, and we had a rehearsal dinner for about 50 people at the Palace Cafe on Decatur. The service and food were excellent, and the staff was extremely well-prepared for our large party.

I meant Canal, not Decatur. Oops...

Ralph's on the Park has nice rooms upstairs with balconies overlooking city park. Commander's has private rooms upstairs, too.

Herbsaint actually has a deal where you can get a three course or four course meal AND you can also add drinks (25/pp, or 40/pp for premium)...I recently did this for a bachelor party of 23...check out:

              Did you find a location?

I've got Cochon on my list and we're just at 12, so ok.

              But that's just one night.

Trying to optimize either good food or fun:
              - Acme?
              - K-Paul?

IIRC, G W Fins can handle 24 in their private room. Great local seafood, and just above "casual."

I just had the same situation and my friends ended up booking a private area at Borgne.
