Is Destefano's in Williamsburg gay friendly?

Hey, my boyfriend and I are thinking of going to Destefano's, on Conselyea St in Williamsburg, but we've heard that it might not be that gay friendly. Normally we would just go and find out for ourselves, but we're thinking of going there for our anniversary, so we don't want to experiment that night. Any advice is really appreciated!

i haven't heard about (nor noticed) anything about any non gay friendly behavior there, however i do recommend you give it a try at some point. i've been there only once, but it was very good.

I myself have never been there but I live in that area. Are you set on steak? There are some great restaurants in the area now. I feel like you would be fine there, I have never felt that this was a particularly homophobic area.
